Sports Federation for Persons with disabilities Wednesday 6-2-2019 blind athletes representing the Yemeni association for the Care and rehabilitation of the blind in the Youth Capital Championship organized by the Union last January, and the honoring was in the presence of Mr. Abpath Nasser Hamid, president of the Sports Federation for the Disabled Capt. Khalid al-Haimi, general secretary of the Federation, and Prof. Ziad al-Amissi is a member of the Oversight and Inspection Committee in the administrative body of the association, as well as media director Ayman al-Rimi.
The association had participated in two teams in the game dedicated Bell and chess, and the player Bashir Rimi had given the Assembly the first title in the tournament by harvesting the first place in the game of chess, and in the game of Bell Ball the Assembly team got third place under a strong competition with the rest of the participating teams, and for the title The goalscorer of the Bell Ball was the player of the Assembly team Abed Ateeq with thirty-eight goals.
Al-Amisi expressed the association’s gratitude to the Federation for the good organization of the tournament as well as honoring the winners of the assembly teams, adding that the association will be together with the Union to make any upcoming championships or events.
It is noteworthy that the association honored the players represented in the tournament and gave them the certificates of thanks and appreciation and gifts in kind in the presence of the President of the Sports Federation for the disabled last Thursday at the headquarters of the Association.
