The Yemeni association for the Care and rehabilitation of the blind, in partnership with the Democratic school, implemented Monday 4-2-2019 the White Cane Distribution project for blind students in the presence of Professor Arwa al-Faqih and a group of staff of the Democratic school and Professor Ahmed al-Osudi, Executive Director Of the society as well as the parents and teachers of the blind students.
The project benefited one hundred and thirty-nine students, of whom twenty-nine were blind students from the Al-Aman Association, and one hundred and ten students from the association’s vision for basic education and literacy school.
The partnership between the Association and the Democratic school has resulted in the implementation of my open day activities for blind students, the White Cane Workshop last December and the last White Cane distribution project.
