In the presence of Mr. Abpath Nasser Hamid, president of the Sports Federation for the Disabled and Mr. Abdulaziz Al Haj, president of the Yemeni Association for the Care and rehabilitation of the blind, the association honored the players represented at the youth Capital Championship organized by the Sports Federation for Persons with Disabilities, which was launched on 21 January and lasted until 24 of the same month.       

The association participated in two teams in the game dedicated Bell and chess, and the player Bashir al-Rimi had given the Assembly the first title in the tournament by harvesting the first place in the game of chess, and in the game of Bell Ball the Assembly team got third place in the shadow of strong competition with the rest of the participating teams, and for the title scorer The tournament for the Bell Ball was made by the player of the Assembly team Abed Ateeq with thirty-eight goals.

The President expressed his gratitude to the Association for its continued interest in its blind children and thanked the good gesture of honoring the players and pushing them to provide the best always in various fields and levels.

The supervisor of the Assembly players captain Ziad Al-Amissi thanked the players for their good performance in the tournament, and also thanked the departments of the Federation and the Association for their tireless attention to the blind.

The association has held and participated in many cultural and sporting events during the past year, the latest of which was the sports Cultural competition held in September last in partnership with the Democratic school.
